Recovery Made Easier at The Gardens
“We designed the Gardens to provide the best possible care to our residents, to attract and retain committed staff and to serve as a source of pride to our community.” Rob Hilton, President and CEO The history of The Gardens dates back to one of Cleveland’s first private rest homes, the Home for Aged Women, The Amasa Stone House endowed in 1877.
Tootie McGregor, established The A.M. McGregor home in 1904 to honor her late husband Ambrose, a close associate of John D. Rockefeller. The vision of The Gardens originated with the merger of these two fine institutions. Construction started in 2001 and continued until February 2004 when the staff and residents of the two legacy facilities moved in.
In our Rehab Unit you will be greeted by a team of caring professionals who will design a plan of care to help the resident recover to their fullest potential, so they will be able to return home safely. Our rooms are private and include a spacious powder room, garden or campus view, a cable ready television and a phone.
We designed the Gardens to provide the best possible care to our residents, to attract and retain committed staff and to serve as a source of pride to our community. Residents are supported by McGregor’s team of caring professionals. It gives us great pleasure knowing that tending to small details make such a big difference in resident’s lives.
Low staff turnover is a testament to personal satisfaction and fulfillment.
